The escape plan hatched in last week’s episode of Daredevil: Born Again may have brought Matt Murdock/Daredevil into the same vigilante orbit with another Marvel hero — the Swordsman — but this group isn’t out of the woods yet. What’s next? The Red Devil is still trying to expose Kingpin and all his dirty deeds and, as the Disney Plus show keeps us rooting for his quest for justice, we can expect more allies to appear.

Along with Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Detective Cherry (Clark Johnson), another familiar face will be on board for Matt’s cause in Season 2: Jessica Jones. Krysten Ritter is reprising her role as the hard-punching Marvel hero first seen in the live-action Netflix shows, The Defenders and Jessica Jones. Don’t count on seeing Frank Castle this season, though — he’s busy doing other things right now.

Stay locked in for this bone-cracking, blood-heavy jaunt into Hell’s Kitchen (and beyond), and a showdown looming between Daredevil and Fisk/Kingpin that’s unlike what fans have seen on screen before. Scroll on for details on when to watch episode 4 and the remainder of this season.

Episode release schedule for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ season 2

Episode 4 of Daredevil: Born Again will drop on Tuesday, April 7, at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Season 2 has a total of eight episodes and the remaining four will arrive at 9 p.m. ET each Tuesday on Disney Plus. Here’s the remaining schedule:

    • Episode 5: Tuesday, April 14
    • Episode 6: Tuesday, April 21
    • Episode 7: Tuesday, April 28
    • Episode 8 (season finale): Tuesday, May 5

For fans who want a little extra, there’s a companion podcast you can watch on the streamer all season. Cast and crew take fans inside the episodes after they drop, so tune in for a deep dive.

Disney Plus starts at $12 per month for a basic subscription with ads, with options to stream it ad-free or to save money with a bundle. The Disney Bundle packages the service with Hulu and/or ESPN Plus, and there’s a bundle pack that includes Max, Hulu and Disney Plus starting at $20 per month. Read our Disney Plus review.

Should I watch other Marvel shows with Daredevil?

You can binge season 1 of Daredevil: Born Again on Disney Plus if you need a refresher. But this also applies to newbies who want to check out the three seasons of Marvel’s Daredevil show that originally streamed on Netflix.

Although Born Again is its own fresh story, there are lots of Easter eggs and connections from the Netflix run that will help viewers understand the characters and backstories. It’s a good idea to watch all the old Marvel series that were once Netflix originals: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and The Defenders.
